Questacon – Science on the Move

Saturday April 1 2017 10:00 am - Sunday April 16 2017 4:00 pm

The Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies plays host to a range of fascinating and interactive scientific experiences as part of the Science on the Move travelling exhibition created by Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre in Canberra.

This amazing collection of 23 exhibits and 35 hands-on experiences will engage both the mind and body in all things science. Experiment with sound by hitting pipes with a rubber thong, turn yourself into a battery, crank up a tornado in a bottle or build a food chain.

Showcase your problem solving skills as you try to balance six loose sticks in mid-air on top of an upright stick, and work with space to manoeuvre four identical spaces into three. Suitable for ages eight and up, but with topics of varying complexity, Science on the Move will engage all ages about the wonders of science.

Price: Free entry with a 4 Parks Pass* Adult (16+) $58.00; Children (4 – 15) $28.90; Family (2A + 2C) $144.90. or an Antarctic Journey entry ticket Adult (16+) $18.00; Children (4 – 15) $9.00; Family (2A + 2C) $45.00.
