The lobster festival is our annual fundraising event, held on the Kilcunda foreshore area. The 2016 event was a huge success with close to 7000 people enjoying the festival throughout the course of the day. Check out the festival photos on our Gallery page.
One of the main attractions is the lobster spinning wheel. The spinning wheel generally runs between 10 am and 3 pm, with a spin occurring about every five minutes. The prize for each of the lucky ticket holders is a huge freshly cooked lobster.
The festival also has a carnival, including amusements and an animal nursery. There is a large market with many varied stalls. Food and drink is available, including lobster lunches, and a live band plays all day.
The lobster festival is a great community event and you will are certain to have a good time.
