What an amazing whale watching season it has been on Phillip Island this year!
We did the whale watching cruise at the beginning of July, and it really was amazing! Not only did we see plenty of dolphins and seals, we also had a very close up experience with a Southern Right Whale! You can check our previous blog posts for some amazing footage of our encounter!
This weekend marks the end of the 2016 Winter Whale Watching cruises on Phillip Island with Wildlife Coast Cruises - if you can get on board this weekend, do it! If not, definitely consider doing the cruise next season in 2017. Generally the whales commence their migration to warmer waters at the beginning - mid June, so Whale Watching Cruises start around the Queen's Birthday long weekend in June.
